| Automatic Reoccuring Billing |
Subscriptions, or Automatic Reoccuring Billing, is an optional service offered Authorize.net. This services allows you to collect reoccuring billing information and submit it to Authorize.net for execution. For example, you may set up a subscription to charge a client $29.95 for 24 months, with a 6 month trial period of $19.95. Normally, you would have to log into the merchant section of Authorize.net to accomplish it. Now ProcessAway allows you to submit the subscription information while on the road. This function only allows you to start/begin a new subscription. To cancel or edit an existing subscription, you must log onto your merchant account area at authorize.net. If you are out of the office, this can be accomplished by using the Safari browser right on the iPhone.
How To Submit A New Subscription1Go to the Subscription section under the Additional Info screen 2At the very minimum, you must enter the customer First and Last name in the customer billing area. It is recommended you enter as much billing infomation as available. 3Enter any shipping information on the shipping screen (optional). 4Go to the Payment Schedule screen and enter the interval, the amount of payments, the payment amount and optional trial payments and amount. 5Go to the Payment Info screen and enter either their credit card info or their bank account info. 6Execute the subscription by pressing "Submit Subscription Request To Gateway" |
